I-88 West is home to four major medical facilities which collectively offer a full range of medical services, from advanced cardiac care and oncology to sports medicine and many choices for your family doctor: The CGH Medical Center, KSB Medical Group and the Sterling Rock Falls Clinic.
The CGH Medical Center is a progressive acute care accredited hospital with a strong reputation throughout the region over the course of its 96-year history. CGH employs over 850 staff, with a team of 114 physicians specializing in 35 areas of medicine.
CGH inpatient services include:
- 45-bed medical unit
- 34-bed surgical unit
- 12-suite birthing center
- 6 pediatric beds
- 14 CCU/ICU/Biotelemetry beds
CGH Medical Center outpatient services include a state-of-the-art Cath Lab, CAP-accredited lab and diagnostic imaging including whole body, CT, nuclear medicine with SPECT scanning, ultrasound, dedicated mammography and an in-house, high field MRI.
CGH offers an ambulatory surgical center, physical and occupational therapy, pre-hospital paramedic-level EMS and centralized scheduling with patient teaching.

Along with a 24-hour trauma ready emergency department, CGH also operates its own Day Care Center adjacent to the campus, and maintains co-ownership in the Northern Illinois Cancer Treatment Center (Dixon), which serves patients living in a 60-mile radius. Other healthcare services include the CGH Nursing and Northern Illinois Home Medical Supply.
Morrison Community Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital providing immediate life improving medical services. The mission of Morrison Community Hopspital is to improve the health of the residents of the hospital district and the surrounding area, focusing on personalized care.
The first emergency health measures in Morrison, Illinois were organized by the Women’s League in a residence they owned at the corner of Lincolnway and Genesee Street. In 1930, Dr. W. J. Maurits opened an office on the first floor at 219 East Main Street, with the Hospital operating on the second floor.

The Morrison Community Hospital emergency department provides emergency care to both adult and pediatric patients within the OSF Region I Trauma Network. Our highly credentialed staff, includes a 24/7 in-house physician and support staff who are always ready to assist.
Located in Dixon, the Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital (KSB) has been active in healthcare in the region since 1897, providing quality, compassionate care with the latest technology and a well-trained, professional staff.
KSB Hospital offers a range of services, including:

The Sterling Rock Falls Clinic has been providing care to residents since 1953 and today is one of the largest physician groups in Northern Illinois, providing a broad range of medical services to patients at clinics in Sterling and Dixon. In addition to the main clinic in Sterling, Sterling Rock Falls Clinic also offers services in Rock Falls and Morrison.
The rehabilitation complex in Sterling is home to the Occupational Medicine, Physical Therapy and Neurology departments. An office in downtown Sterling is home to the Opthamology, Optometry and Oral and Maxillofacial departments.
